Label Elements

Signal Word: None required  ·  Pictogram: None required  ·  Hazard Statements: None required
Precautionary Statements: None required under GHS. As a matter of good industrial hygiene, wash hands after handling and avoid prolonged contact with eyes and skin.

Hazards Not Otherwise Classified (HNOC)

Although not classified as a hazardous substance under GHS, spilled product creates a slipping hazard. Walking and roof surfaces wetted with concentrate or ready-to-spray product are slippery until dry. Use fall protection and slip-resistant footwear during application.

Section 3 — Composition / Information on Ingredients

Substance / Mixture: Mixture (water-based emulsion).

This product contains no components classified as hazardous under GHS / OSHA HazCom 2012 (29 CFR 1910.1200) at or above their respective reportable concentration thresholds. Specific chemical identities and exact concentrations are withheld as proprietary trade secrets in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1200(i).

Components

ComponentConcentration
1. Component (trade secret)*10 – 30 % (weight)
2. Component (trade secret)*1 – 5 % (weight)
3. Component (trade secret)*0.5 – 1.5 % (weight)
4. Component (trade secret)*0.1 – 1 % (weight)

Trade Secret Statement (OSHA 1910.1200(i)): *The specific chemical identities and/or actual concentrations or actual concentration ranges for one or more listed components are being withheld as trade secrets under the US regulation 29 CFR 1910.1200(i). The manufacturer will disclose the withheld information to a treating health-care professional, OSHA, or other authorized requestor in accordance with that section.

Section 4 — First Aid Measures

Eye Contact

Immediately rinse eyes with plenty of clean water for at least 15 minutes, holding eyelids open. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do; continue rinsing. Get medical attention if irritation persists.

Skin Contact

Wash affected skin with soap and plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. If skin irritation or rash occurs, get medical advice.

Inhalation

Spray mist may cause mild respiratory irritation. Move person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Get medical attention if symptoms develop or persist.

Ingestion

Rinse mouth with water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention if a large quantity is swallowed or if symptoms develop. Show this SDS to medical personnel.

Most Important Symptoms / Effects

Eye redness and irritation; mild skin irritation with prolonged or repeated contact.

Indication of Immediate Medical Attention

No special antidote required. Treat symptomatically.

Section 5 — Fire-Fighting Measures

Suitable Extinguishing Media: Water spray, foam, dry chemical, carbon dioxide (CO2).
Unsuitable Media: None known.
Specific Hazards: Product is an aqueous emulsion and is not flammable as supplied. On evaporation of the water phase, residual oil components may burn. Combustion products may include carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oxides of nitrogen, and irritating smoke.
Protective Equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and full protective gear for firefighters in enclosed areas.
Flash Point: Not applicable (aqueous emulsion). Residual oils >200 °C (>392 °F) per ingredient data.

Section 6 — Accidental Release Measures

Personal Precautions

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear appropriate PPE (Section 8). Spilled product is slippery — block off and warn personnel of slip hazard.

Environmental Precautions

Prevent entry into storm drains, surface waters, and septic systems. Large releases may temporarily affect dissolved oxygen in receiving waters.

Containment and Cleanup

Small spills: absorb with inert material (sand, vermiculite, commercial absorbent) and place in a labeled waste container. Wash residual area with hot water and detergent. Large spills: dike to contain, pump to recovery container, then absorb residual.

Section 7 — Handling and Storage

7.1 Precautions for Safe Handling

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling. Wash hands with soap and water after handling. For precautions see Section 2.

7.2 Conditions for Safe Storage, Including Any Incompatibility

Keep the container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.

Section 8 — Exposure Controls / Personal Protection

Occupational Exposure Limits

No specific OSHA PEL or ACGIH TLV established for this mixture. Component limits:

ComponentOSHA PELACGIH TLV
Oil mist (general analog for spray mist generated)5 mg/m3 TWA5 mg/m3 TWA (inhalable)
Other componentsNot establishedNot established

Engineering Controls

Provide adequate general ventilation. Use local exhaust where spray mist may accumulate.

Personal Protective Equipment

Eye/Face: ANSI Z87.1 safety glasses or chemical splash goggles when handling concentrate or spraying diluted product.
